Legacy Laces

Legion Community Foundation is proud to partner with Legacy Laces and our fans to provide new, gently used, outgrown and/or excess sports equipment for kids in need lacking the resources necessary to participate in team sports.

Legacy Laces has a drop off location at the Legion Headquarters (5816 Dryden Place, Carlsbad) in the main lobby.  Fans can drop off equipment (especially cleats) Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.

ASYMCA

The Legion Community Foundation supports the Armed Services YMCA by fundraising for the Online School Program.  This program provides computer and internet access to kids can attend their online classes.  Additionally, the Legion proudly donates tp the Big Bay Boom, which helps support the ASYMCA with their programming.

SD Blood Bank

The partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank is important because it encourages our fans to become blood donors. In addition to the great feeling of saving lives, donors receive two tickets to a San Diego Legion home game. During the blood drive, San Diego Legion players visit the centers to thank donors personally. GIVE BLOOD GET RUGBY!

SD Food Bank

The San Diego Legion launched its first virtual food drive as a way to support individuals and families in local communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In collaboration with the Quick Tap Rugby Podcast, we were able to raise about $5000 for the San Diego Food Bank. We look forward to helping their cause further.
